Aries Relationships - Child

Aries babies are impatient and demanding. They know what they want – and they know what they don’t want; and they are not averse to making their feelings heard.

As toddlers, they tend to walk and talk sooner than other children; and topple over sooner, too. They are prone to bumps, bruises and burns – particularly to the head and face. Anything that is forbidden or out of bounds is an irresistible challenge to an Aries child.

Aries children are, normally, openly affectionate. They love hugs and cuddles and can give as good as they get. They don’t take kindly to discipline and are prone to temper tantrums when they fail to get their own way; but these sudden outbursts usually clear as quickly as they begin. They love fairy tales and identify strongly with the dashing heroes and beautiful princesses.

They have little patience with schoool work, unless it happens to involve one of their personal obsessions. However, their competitive nature means that they are unlikely to remain at the bottom of any class for long. But whilethey respond glowingly to praise, they refuse totally to cooperate if they feel that they are unappreciated or have been wrongly criticised.

As teenagers, they are the original rebels with, to their minds, very good cause. They argue the toss with their parents, teachers, friends and foes. They are the ringleaders of any every adventure, the leaders of any gang. Issuing orders to Aries youngsters is as much a waste of time as expecting them to come second in a race. If you want something done, ask them nicely – and smile.
