Gemini parents try to fill their children’s lives with projects and adventures. They hate to see their offspring doing nothing when they, personally, can think of a dozen different and wonderful activities they could be enjoying. They are unlikely to be consistent about what they expect of them in terms of behaviour and tend to worry more if they get bad marks at school than if they get into trouble with the neighbours or arrive home late.

Gemini mother gives her youngsters the time and space they require. Her approach to them is governed more by logic than emotion. She encourages her children to learn and explore, providing them with incentives to do both. She expects them to be as independent as she is and does not try to force her own views or values on to them.

Gemini father is a friend to his children rather than a strict disciplinarian. He is liable to spoil them and if he wishes to demonstrate his disapproval he is more likely to use his tongue than any more tangible form of punishment. He goes to great lengths to help the youngsters with their schoolwork and teaches them how to use encyclopaedias and other reference books.

Gemini parents need to learn how to relate to their children on an emotional level and to cater for their real needs, as opposed to those which they believe them to have.
