Aries is the first
sign of the Zodiac; the sign of the Pioneer; the sign of action.
You approach life at a gallop, full of passion, enthusiasm
and intensity, combining the energy and determination of your
ruler, Mars, with the speed, brilliance and spontaneity of
the element of Fire.
Aries really does rush in where angels fear
to tread. So it is not surprising that you have a tendency,
at times, to trip up, slip up, sprain your ankles, burn your
fingers, fall off ladders, bang your head…… ah,
yes, the head. That is the area of the body linked to Aries
which is why you are more prone than most to suffer headaches,
migraine, lost teeth, dental decay and ailments affecting
the mouth, eyes and ears. Your head may even lead when you
walk, your body following obediently behind.
Of course, your approach to health mirrors your
approach to life in general. You have no time to worry about
such boring matters being far too busy starting new projects,
hatching grand plans and great ideas. Let other people etch
in the fine detail and pour over the small print. You are
the creative genius who dreams up one scheme and then moves
quickly on to the next.
The health dangers are obvious. With all that
impatient energy pushing you ever onwards and upwards, you
have a tendency to overdo it and become over-tired, over-stressed
and overwrought. Your jaw tenses up, your head aches, your
eyes feel strained. Or you may flare up and become overaggressive
and short-tempered indicating an urgent need to slow down
and take life at a less frenetic pace.
However, too little activity can be as detrimental
to the Aries wellbeing as too much. Without sufficient stimulation
you can become apathetic, sluggish and bored. You need to
find a comfortable balance to your life, to listen to what
your body is trying to tell you - and to respond.
Your positive attitude and faith in your own
abilities means that you operate from the basis that 'I can'
rather than 'I can't'. You live in the present and for the
moment. Because you believe that nothing is impossible, you
frequently take on more than you can handle and then worry
about all the loose ends which you have left trailing behind.
Another potential problem for individuals born
under this vigorous sign is the fact that you play to win.
Dynamic and courageous you may be, but you are also deeply
competitive - even with yourself. Being belittled, undermined
or under-valued can make you physically ill.
Ariens frequently have weak backs, the result
of being taller than average and carrying, moving or doing
things on impulse which, were you to take the time to consider
the matter, you would realise it would be wiser to avoid.
By and large, Aries is a healthy, happy
sign but you do need to learn how to balance your physical
and psychological needs.
