Scorpio Relationships - Child

Scorpio children, given half a chance, will take over the running of the family and expect everyone to dance to their tune. They need to be disciplined from an early age and taught that life is a matter of compromise, or else they are liable to grow into inflexible adults, convinced that their attitudes, beliefs and ways of doing things are unrivalled.

Little Scorpios have a deep-rooted need for privacy and, at the same time, the ability to uncover the rest of the family’s secrets. Their tendency to bottle things up means that they need to be encouraged to share their feelings and talk over problems. Whatever their interests, they are liable to pursue them to the point of obsession. If another child upsets them or breaks their toys, they will wait patiently to get their revenge.

At school, they are brighter than average, with an impressive knack for unravelling the most complex problem. They are very ambitious and need a project or goal which holds their attention totally. They also have vast reserves of energy which can be put to good use on the playing fields, in the gym, or even on the dance floor. They are passionate about winning and need to be taught how to lose with style. Their fascination with the opposite sex will start at an early age.

These are not children who can be persuaded to do anything against their will. Only by being totally honest and using intelligent reasoning will their parents or teachers be able to win them round to their way of thinking.
